North South University has set new milestones in the history of private higher education in Bangladesh and pioneered academic supremacy outside the realm of public education. This esteemed institution has taken countless important steps in its quest for achieving greatness and it continues to do so with unwavering vigour.
There was a time when Dhaka could only boast of one university, and it was publicly owned. However, as the population of Dhaka grew, so did its demand for higher education that could not be solely met by the existing institution. It was a difficult challenge to undertake, and North South University has proved itself remarkably successful in living up to it. Even though it has had humble beginnings, like everything else that is great, it is truly inspiring to see what the conviction of a handful of determined educationists can bring about. North South University has touched countless lives and changed them for the better.
